Going International!
Our school has been always international. Students are mostly, Japanese students coming back from English speaking countries, or bilingual children with parents of non-Japanese background living in Japan. Nowadays, the number of non Japanese English speaking students are increasing, and I have a great joy teaching them. It is fascinating to interact with students with different background living in Japan. Spending most of my adult years in the U.S, my values and ideals are not the same as the Japanese, and it will never be. At the same time, my personality has adjusted to the people and culture of Japan during the last 13 years. I want to believe that I adapted good qualities of both countries, and I would love to keep expanding my world through my students! I cannot express my gratitude connecting people from all over the world through music. It opens my heart and perspectives, and enriches my life for a better.
